Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
