Israeli authorities has announced that it has authorized a Hamas official to step into territory in the Gaza Strip administered by the Israel Defense Forces to help humanitarian and Egypt experts in recovering the corpses of thirteen remaining dead hostages.

International Red Cross, the Egyptian technical team, and a Hamas representative have been permitted to enter past designated security zones in Gaza under Israeli military monitoring,” a state representative told a briefing.

The spokesperson added that Cairo's personnel would introduce further machinery, among them heavy-duty vehicles.

The government claims the Palestinian faction of breaching the two-week-old peace arrangement on grounds that it has released only 15 of the 28 hostages' bodies it was holding.
